| Lifting Cars Off Babies
|In 1977 in Tallahassee Florida 63 year old Laura Schultz lifted the back end of the family Buick of her young grandson. Up until that point Laura had never lifted anything heavier than a 15 pound bag of pet-food….
Laura struggled to deal with “the incident” because if she was able to do something as unbelievable as lift a car – what else was she capable of?
She felt that she’d wasted her life and limited her dreams and aspirations.
Did you know that studies have shown that even elite athletes only use 30% of their muscles true potential force?
When a muscle contracts at full force it can break bones and rip tendons.
I wonder how many other ways we limit ourselves physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
We all have incredible potential – we just need to believe it’s possible.
By the way, “the incident” inspired Laura to eventually return to college to study “rocks” and she went on to become a teacher.
If you want to learn more about accessing your bodies true potential check out my “5-Minute Flexibility” book and soon to be released DVD.
